We also offer Roche GS FLX sequencing for de novo sequencing of genomes of any size. The long read length together with long paired end guarantees best possible quality of assembly data.

Transcriptome Sequencing

Application of Next Generation Sequencing technologies to sequence RNA samples showed to be a powerful approach to detect new RNA species or to measure levels of gene expression and thus to determine the transcriptional state of different cells or tissues. This approach is now used routinely for transcript profiling. Unlike microarrays, Next Generation Sequencing technologies are not limited to sequenced genomes because they generate tags independently of knowledge of gene annotation.
