Transcriptome Sequencing

Application of Next Generation Sequencing technologies to sequence RNA samples showed to be a powerful approach to detect new RNA species or to measure levels of gene expression and thus to determine the transcriptional state of different cells or tissues. This approach is now used routinely for transcript profiling. Unlike microarrays, Next Generation Sequencing technologies are not limited to sequenced genomes because they generate tags independently of knowledge of gene annotation.

Microarray analysis have been in the field for years to analyze the transcriptome of various organisms. We offer Illumine bead arrays to analyze the transcriptome of various organisms.

Depending on your final objective, we will assist you in designing the appropriate sequencing experiment for your research.
